Booked a table for earlier on the evening. Got sat in the window and served straight away with drinks order and then food order taken few moments later. Service was really good although when it got busier you had to look around for a waiter. Very polite and the food was amazing. Try the traditional dishes as I think you would be surprised. The waiters were very happy to explain what the dishes were and seemed really happy that we took such delight in them. Will go back again and will make sure it's early ☺

Went on Father's Day expecting a long wait. However the staff were amazing no matter how busy they were attentive and first class. I took my dog and sat in the garden. Before I'd sat down a young man came and offered my dog a bucket of water. That was before asking what I wanted. Brilliant! The food was first class I had a 16 Oz steak that was cooked to perfection medium rare. My partner had a vegetarian option again she said that was amazing. All in all I'd say go there because for inexpensive food this place punches well above its weight.
The staff at the sugar Mill are very helpful but did get are food wrong. First my little girls food went to someone else's table so she had to wait over 10 minutes for her food but the staff did get her a bowl of chip to keep her happy as she was hungry, and me and my other daughters food was a vegetarian meal instead of the chicken curry was ordered , but they did bring the right meals later which we all ate so it wasn't too bad. All in all the food was good and service was good , this always happens on my birthday. Next year McDonald's 😃

Without doubt the best Indian restaurant in Bourne. Excellent quality and choice at a fair price. Takeaway quality is on par with eating in in terms of quality and quantity

We order every week and most of the time it's delivered on time, the food taste amazing, a bit of veriation in the spice hotness sometimes if I want to be critical, but definitely one of the best takeaways in town.

Had a great visit! The food was really good and the staff were very friendly. I only didn't give it 5 stars cause I think our main order was forgotten about until a woman came out to check how everyone was and noticed that we still didn't have food. We will definitely be going back.
Still our favourite Chinese Restaurant in Bourne. Perfect for a romantic meal and the food is always fresh and piping hot. Friendly staff and a relaxing environment.

Tried this place for the first time tonight and wow! We have found our new favourite take away! They were excellent at accommodating my husband’s peanut allergy and the food was great. Good prices and they had the food ready in about 15 minutes. The only thing I could knock them for is they only take cash but honestly the food is so tasty it’s well worth a trip to the atm, and there is one conveniently located around the corner.
Nice little family run takeaway. Great value for money.

Smith's I believe is quite pricey. Although their coffee compared to the 'costas and Starbucks'is very reasonable. If you go to Smith's for a meal with wine it can be very expensive. Also if you go there to take alcohol,beer,spirits,wine and cocktails it's expensive compare to the other 'Pubs',of Bourne,sometime almost twice as expensive. Smith's attracts a slightly older crowd,I believe this is down to price. It's a good thing as you never really sea people drunk out of their heads or other related drunken behaviour. Smith's is also child friendly. In fact the entire back is for families. All round I like Smith's. You can always go there and enjoy a coffee,cider, 🍷 and food. I go there often
Stayed the week, excellent customer service and food was delicious and such good value. And it has an amazing beer garden

Just nipped in for a drink in passing. Appeared to be a decent place with sport showing on TV screens.. Reasonable selection of alcoholic beverages.
Major refurbishment, looks great, still as friendly, many pints for under £3 and loads of TV screens showing all the popular sporting events... Fantastic 😁

Good old fashioned pub. Great atmosphere and even better pint.
If you're over 6"1' like me, this place is a headache; literally. Really low ceilings with the addition of ceiling beams to make matters worse. That is the worst feature of this pub though. Really friendly greeting by the barmaid and an open log fire really makes this a welcoming place to visit. 3 cask ales on offer, of which were perfectly poured and well kept. Couple of big screens in the main bar, a dart board beyond that room and a separate room with a pool table. Clientelle were more friendlier than the Red Lion 100 yards away. This pub feels more rustic and suits the area. Even with the prospect of more bruises to my head, I will be visiting here on my next visit.
